We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team as a Head Chef at Cafe Greenfingers.

Greenfingers has been the Remuera local cafe for well over a decade, and we are looking for an optimistic new head chef to take the reigns and continue the amazing work that we do.

We operate from Tuesday to Sunday, we currently have a Head chef waiting to pass on his knowledge on how to effeciently run the cafe for your first few weeks before they move on. 

This is a fun, fast paced job that's ideal for people who like a challenge and strive to do the best they can. We require someone who is enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about delivering quality products and service to customers.

• 3+ years of proven experience as Head Chef
• Plan & create menus
• Taking responsibility for the food production with a hands-on approach
• Building positive relationships with staff
• Adhering to all relevant health and safety & food safety standards
• Identify, develop and maintain establishment policies and procedures
• Impart knowledge, skills and training to all kitchen staff
• Keep food & labour costs to establishment requirements
• Join and be an active part of the management meeting
