About Your Role:

This is a rare opportunity! We are looking for people who are genuinely invested in delivering exceptional guest experiences. Previous training in a hospitality events environment is essential for this role & a creative, can-do attitude and aptitude for guest engagement & experience is non-negotiable.

About the Candidate:

  • Events/Wedding Delivery experience
  • Experience in a similar role             
  • Highly adaptable and able to perform and lead in high-pressure service periods.          
  • Experience in controlling COGS and labour.
  • Experience in costing and ordering platforms.
  • IT skills (Microsoft office)
  • People skills in communication and management 
  • Demonstrated ability in building effective relationships with guests and their Team.
  • Super organisational skills & great time management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation.
  • People management & training experience.
  • Systems knowledge; the ability to work with numerous platforms with ease & solid rostering experience.
  • Available and willing to work a rotating roster including weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts.
  • An open mind, be solution-centric and exude warmth with a genuine, good character.

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Head Chef

Please note: You should have a minimum 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

Requirements

  • Cert III in Commercial Cookery (minimum)

  • Experience in a senior chef role within events or high-volume service

  • Strong understanding of food safety standards

  • Ability to lead, train and mentor a kitchen team

  • Excellent organisation and time management

  • Able to work a rotating roster including weekends and event days

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Police Check

  • Positive attitude, adaptability and a guest-focused approach
