The Waterloo Hotel Venue is on the hunt for a Head Chef to join the team! We are a Brisbane landmark, with spectacular Art Deco architecture and a proud facade dominating the busy intersection of Ann Street & Commercial Road in Fortitude Valley.

As a Head Chef, your role will involve:
Running of the day-to-day operations of the kitchen
Inspiring and leading a multi-skilled team
Working along side the Venue Manager and Executive Chef to drive revenue through the business
Leading, developing and mentoring a team
Menu planning and design
Controlling food costs, and wastage to hit KPIs
Writing and controlling an effective roster
Please note: You should have a minimum 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in a Head Chef role
Confident and creative cooking style
Ability to lead a team
Ability to ensure all policies, procedures and standards are current, effective, and clearly communicated
Maintain a high level of standard while cooking in a fast paced environment
Multi-task effectively and ensure all deadlines are met with suppliers as well as the Venue Manager and Executive Chef
