JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a new Ski Lodge Head Chef for the upcoming Winter season. We have a hard earned reputation for fine food, fine wine and amazing service and need a dedicated Head Chef to join the excitement of the season ahead.

Meals, on snow accommodation (own room and ensuite) and attractive package in line with experience, super and prorata annual leave plus seasonal bonus on offer. $24k-$34k package available, above award for 17 week full time contract under Hospitality Award. Superstar Sous Chef already on the Team to support and assist in all duties. 

Duties include designing and preparing breakfast and 3 course fine dining menu, ordering, stock control, budget management, team rostering, maintaining high hygiene standards. Liaising closely with Lodge Mamagers to ensure smooth operations and guest expectations exceeded.

1 day off per week, split shifts 6 days so plenty of down time to enjoy the slopes! Great team environment and an experience like no other. Must be willing to commit to season from early June to October long weekend. Long term/ongoing seasonal contracts on offer. REQUIREMENTS

Qualified chef with 3 years head chef experience. Would consider Sous Chef wanting to step up but must impress with experience, passion and dedication.

Induction/onboarding required prior to starting role
