JOB DESCRIPTION

ROYAL BRIGHTON YACHT CLUB IN BRIGHTON IS LOOKING FOR A HOSPITALITY COORDINATOR 

THIS IS A CASUAL POSITION WITH 38 HRS A WEEK

 

WE OPERATE A PUBLIC RESTAURANT OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK, A FUNCTION CENTRE AND PRIVATE MEMBERS LOUNGE 

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Catering Coordinator

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Current or previous experience in function coordination / F&B supervisory or similar 
  • You are passionate about delivering the highest levels of customer service 
  • Attention to detail , the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills 
  • Strong understanding of allergen management and food safety
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends, as required by event schedules
  • Ability to perform in a team and autonomously.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities on strict deadlinesHigh level accuracy and attention to detail
  • Have a strong positive work ethic
  • Be enthusiastic and demonstrate great initiative
  • Manage and resolve difficult situations 
  • Able to lift 20k in weight
  • Strong AV knowledge
