JOB DESCRIPTION

The Venue

Hyde Hacienda Sydney is without a doubt one of the hottest venues within Sydney. With one of the most iconic views of the Harbour Bridge, Hyde Hacienda offers its signature cocktail menu, South American inspired eats designed to share and some of Australia’s finest DJs and live music. We are pleased to boast that we are undoubtedly Sydney’s Best Lounge and Cocktail Bar having recently won the People’s Choice award for 2022’s Best Lounge and Cocktail Bar as announced by the Australian Good Food Guide. 

The Role

Pullman Quay Grand Sydney Harbour is seeking for a truly passionate hospitality professional who has a vibrant and bubbly personality to represent and be the first impression of Hyde Hacienda! Reporting to the Venue Manager, you will be responsible for greeting guests at the front door of the venue, as well as showing them to their seats. You will also provide assistance to oversee other aspects of the Food & Beverage department depending on the business and its demand. In this role you will also be responsible ensuring quality customer service, attend to operational problems and needs promptly, including customer inquiries and requests. Your daily responsibilities will include: 

  • Making bookings and reservations on behalf of guests. 
  • Promptly answering phone calls and enquires about our venue/ offerings. 
  • Managing the flow of guests.
  • Assisting wait staff when required.
  • Assist with the running of events. 
  • Receiving and handling payments.

Host/Hostess
Waitstaff (Fine Dining)

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

 

What you bring

  • A passion for food & beverage service, as well as, guest engagement and satisfaction.
  • Have a vibrant, outgoing personality.
  • Strong sales approach and passion for driving and generating business.
  • Excellent communication skills; including both verbal and written.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Current RSA Certification - Essential.
  • Flexibility to work across a 7 day rotating roster, including nights and weekends.
