About the role:

We are on the hunt for a Housekeeping Attendant to join our team in Auckland. You will be primarily based at President Hotel Auckland and will have a chance to work at our Fort Street Accommodation and Greenlane Suites from times to times. 

Your role is to be a key member in our awesome Housekeeping team! This position includes the responsibility of ensuring our high standards of cleanliness are kept up throughout the hotel. Your passion for providing exceptional customer service and contributing to our high level of customer satisfaction is paramount. 

If you are a confident attendant with experienced housekeeping skills, we have negotiable options for you! 

Key duties include:

  • All necessary housekeeping activities to ensure guest rooms are serviced according to Hotel standards
  • Ensure guest comfort at all times
  • Respond to guest requests politely and efficiently
  • Assist the hotel in monitoring stocks and maintaining productivity
  • Working in a safe and efficient manner at all times
  • Contribute to making the Hotel a great place to work

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Cleaner / Housekeeper

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience working in a housekeeping team or similar is an advantage
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • High standards of presentation both for yourself and your work
  • Ability to work on your own as well as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Pride in your work
