Your Opportunity

We're on the hunt for a dynamic Junior Sous Chef to join our inaugural team at Donna Chang. As second-in-command, you'll drive kitchen operations, ensuring every dish delights with its quality and creativity. Reporting directly to the Head Chef, you'll lead by example in a supportive, innovative environment that values your culinary passion and leadership.


RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Optimising kitchen setup for efficient food production

  • Crafting weekly rosters to ensure optimal staffing

  • Preparing ingredients and overseeing timely food preparation

  • Collaborating with wait staff on daily specials and plate presentation

  • Maintaining kitchen standards and health regulations

Key to Your Success

You'll bring at least 2 years of Sous Chef experience in high-quality venues, demonstrating:

  • Expertise in diverse cooking methods and kitchen management

  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills

  • Commitment to culinary excellence and safety standards
