Summary:

Looking to make a bit of extra money during the festive season. We are seeking highly motivated and skilled Kitchen Assistants to join our team during this festive season. The Kitchen Assistants will be responsible for assisting the head chef and kitchen staff in preparing and cooking meals, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and ensuring that all food safety and sanitation standards are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the head chef and kitchen staff in preparing and cooking meals
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
• Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
• Assist with food preparation and plating
• Assist with dishwashing and cleaning duties as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by the head chef or kitchen manager

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment required
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Availability from Mid to end of December
