JOB DESCRIPTION

Nexus Cafe an Function Centre

Positioned at the top of the norwest boulevard between the business complex.  Nexus cafe offers the best hospitality experience, where it be catering for functions or just a cup of coffee, this is the place to go.

We are looking for a capable kitchen hand to join the team and work closely with the chefs.

  • Looking for a dedicated Kitchen Hand who knows their way around the kitchen
  • willing to help all stations and help all around the kitchen
  • eager to learn new skills

Please note: No previous experience required for this job.

REQUIREMENTS

To be successful you must be able to

  • Operate an industrial dishwasher, washing dishes and glassware by hand when necessary
  • Unload dishes, silverware, and glassware from dishwasher
  • Ability to handle large volumes of dishes, including pots and pans
  • Carry out basic cleaning tasks within the premises
  • Assist chefs and wait staff as required, especially during peak hours
  • Applicants must be flexible and be available to work a variety of day and weekend shifts
  • have access to transportation
