Your day to day
As a Steward you play an integral role in ensuring our guests have a seamless and memorable stay. You will ensure that all chinaware, flatware, silverware and glassware, kitchen equipment and utensils are cleaned whilst maintaining correct procedures in line with resort standards.
What we need from you
We are looking for enthusiastic and professional team players who knows how to deliver great service and exceed guest expectations. You must have the ability to relocate and live on Hayman Island, Queensland and commence position ideally by 1st July 2022, along with appropriate Australian working rights.

Our stewards must have:
- A minimum of one years experience in a similar role in a hotel or resort environment, or high volume restaurant or events centre.
- Possess great attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to interact with customers.
- A working knowledge and understanding of HACCP procedures, including the training of colleagues in procedures.
You must also hold the appropriate work rights to work within Australia alongside an open Australian driver’s license and be flexible to work weekends and evenings as required; commencing from early to mid August 2020.
