We are searching to fill the Maître d' role for Christchurch Tramway Restaurant, an exclusive and Iconic premium hospitality premises.
About the Role - Assistant Restaurant Manager
Part-time position / Full-time available
There is flexibility for less than 30 hours p/w to work alongside independent study or other personal commitments. Flexible and understanding roster to suit individual needs.
The role involves evening work with the occasional day shift available alongside the ability to work in our other premises. This provides a good balance with a flexible roster and friendly team environment.
A key member of the team, reporting directly to the Tram Restaurant Manager Manager. Assisting with their day to day duties, and being the sole charge on their days off.
Responsible for staff and maintaining a positive team environment.
Responsible for delivering excellent customer service and meeting set exceptions.
Position Description will be available from Interview stage.

About you
Passionate knowledge & experience with Restaurants and the hospitality industry.
The ability to multi task.
Excellent communication, structures and time management skills.
Must have a friendly demeanour, and outward going personality.
A hands-on approach ensuring high team morale and environment.
Duty Manager licence preferred, if not training will be provided.
First Aid Certificate will be provided.

Minimum of 1 year Restaurant experience
Hold a current Duty Manager certificate, or be willing to complete LCQ and obtain certificate. This cost will be paid for.
Black pants and shoes are own supply, shirt/ apron is provided
