JOB DESCRIPTION

Margaret Family is seeking an experienced and motivated Manager and Assistant Manager to join our front-of-house leadership team. What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a supervisory or management role within a high-end restaurant
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to support and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • A calm, composed presence during busy service periods
  • A genuine passion for hospitality, food, and wine
  • Professional presentation and a guest-first mindset

As Manager and Assistant Manager, you’ll work closely with the restaurant leadership team to oversee service, manage daily operations, and ensure every guest experience reflects the standards of Margaret Family.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading and supervising the front-of-house team during service
  • Ensuring smooth, efficient, and professional floor operations
  • Supporting staff training and ongoing development
  • Managing guest relationships and handling any service issues with confidence and care
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming environment
  • Assisting with opening and closing procedures, bookings, and administrative tasks as required
