JOB DESCRIPTION

Join our team at the Yassas- The Greek Way (Eastland), a dining destination in the centre of  Ringwood Town Square. This is a Full-time opportunity to help, develop, and lead an ever-growing team of your own.  Outstanding and driven people make it all happen and we are looking for a highly skilled Venue Manager to join us!

Experience & Skills: 

  • Restaurant or bar management/supervisory experience
  • Customer  service skills
  • Leadership qualities with focus on staff development
  • Passionate about people, hospitality and experiences
  • Solid understanding of Management practices
  • Highly adaptable and able to perform in fast-paced high-pressure service periods
  • Proven ability in building effective relationships
  • Understanding of Restaurant Award Rates=
  • Organisational and Time Management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation.
  • Deliver a best-in-class experience for both our guests and crew following the Yassas Brand.
  • Execute admin responsibilities such as rostering crew members
  • Assist with achieving business targets

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

The Ideal Candidate Must Have:

  • Restaurant/Bar management/Supervisory experience.
  • Can find solutions to problems that prioritise the café/restaurant’s, customer's & staff's best interest
  • Previous function and event experience is a bonus but not mandatory.
  • Able and willing to work weekends, public holidays, opening and closing shifts 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive and friendly attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
  • Execute admin responsibilities such as rostering crew members
  • Must have a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
  • Must hold a valid RSA
