JOB DESCRIPTION

The Watsonia RSL has the opportunity for an experienced Duty Manager to join the Management team.

As the successful applicant, you will be well presented, have excellent customer service skills and have a "hands on" management style. You will possess a current Victorian Gaming Licence RSA, RSG certificates, TAB accreditation and System One knowledge. 

You will be working closely with the General Manager and the Operations Manager to help successfully achieve budget requirements. This casual/permanent part-time night position offers further development and advancement.  

 

Applicants must have previous experience in a similar role and be able to work night shifts on weekdays and weekends.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing Beverage, Gaming Operations, Wagering and Keno

- Exceptional attention to detail

- Team building and training

- Managing within budgeting/rostering constraints

- Ability to multi task

- Excellent communication skills

- TAB sellers/cash control certificates essential.

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.

  • 1-2 years experience in a management role
  • A high standard of customer service skills
  • Dedicated to motivate, mentor and train staff
  • Possess excellent leadership and team player qualities
  • Exceptional time management for split work shift
  • Work well under pressure
