The Venue
Merivale has arrived at the Sydney Cricket Ground and the new Sydney Football Stadium as the new ‘Exclusive Hospitality Experience Partner’.
Merivale has proudly taken the helm of the multiple outlets across the stadiums. This includes the casual retail for all ‘grab and go’ to the high-end suites and corporate boxes dotted around the stadiums. This truly diverse offering continues across the many functions and event rooms housed within the multipurpose complexes.
You will find Merivale’s celebrated executives chefs Danielle Alvarez (Freds), Jordan Toft (mim’s, Bert’s Bar & Brasserie), Dan Hong ( Ms G’s & Mr Wong), Mike Egget (Totti’s), Ben Greeno (The Paddington, Hotel Centennial) and Vincenzo Biondini (Vinnie’s Pizza) bring their expertise into a stadium setting.
The Role
The Operations Manager oversees and responsible for shift operations and people management within stadium functions. This role focuses on retail food and beverage operations across the entire complex.
The role reports directly to and supports the Head of Operations at the SCG. The Operations Manager is responsible for leading a large management team driving them to deliver an exceptional guest experience each visit.
The Operations Manager of a complex this size will drive and promote effective people practices around recruitment, performance management whilst looking to always deliver the best staff experience.
This is an exciting opportunity to get your foot in the door of Sydney’s largest hospitality business.

The SCG literally pumps - so as a Senior Manager you will need to be experienced in high volume and not be afraid to drive people (staff & security alike) when the pressure is on.
