Crown has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our Pastry team! This is a chance to develop your skills and experience in catering for between 10 and 2500 guests.

In this role you will be working under the guidance of some of Melbourne’s leading Pastry Chefs led by a dedicated and passionate Executive Pastry Chef. This is your opportunity to join the team responsible for some of Victoria’s most prestigious events.

REQUIREMENTS

What you need:

  • Extensive culinary experience within the pastry field, especially in production kitchen.
  • Ability to produce modern pastries and cakes in a fast paced environment
  • Must have skills to do chocolate showpieces and special cake requests
  • Passion for this industry is a must and continuous thirst to learn  
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work within a team environment
  • Effective leadership skills including the ability to train and mentor a team 
  • Ability to maintain high and consistent food standards at all times while following strict HACCP guidelines
  • You must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 (including booster shots if eligible) or have a genuine medical exception to be eligible to work onsite at Crown.
