We are on the search for a passionate and innovative Pastry Commis Chef who is ready to produce an unforgettable experience through production of the finest French style pastries in Melbourne. All while continually maintaining high standards and furthering their skills in a tight supportive & collaborative team.

About the Opportunity

Under the guidance of our Executive Pastry Chef, you'll set the standard in our fast-paced kitchen by providing the guests with a selection of delicious pastry choices and fresh products daily. Working in a creative manner to consistently produce premium quality is essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for a pastry superstar to join our high-performing team. You’ll be rostered to meet the peak and flow of business demands, shifts will vary across a 7-day rotating roster including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

 


RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Pastry Chef
Baker

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

What you'll need to be successful

  • Certificate III or higher in Patisserie or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced 4-5* resort or restaurant environment.
  • A passion for all things pastry with a strong focus on product quality and presentation.
  • Knowledge of HACCP standards and procedures.
  • A creative and innovative mindset.
  • A desire to further develop your skills.
  • The flexibility to work across a 7-day roster including weekends and peak holiday periods.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
