About the role

We are currently recruiting for Full Time and Part Time Porters to join our Front Office team.

As an energizing and confident Porter, you will join our creative and diverse Front Office Team, connecting with people and making things happen at Hyatt Regency Brisbane. A good understanding of multi-tasking and caring for our guests will ensure your day is full of exciting challenges and is never dull.

This varied and dynamic role provides a chance to develop your professional hospitality career within an international company.

Your Porter role will include: 

  • Valet parking of guest cars
  • Delivery of luggage to guest rooms
  • Assisting with guest enquiries eg directions, recommendations
  • Handling guest feedback and resolving any complaints
  • You will require a Manual Drivers License for this role

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

REQUIREMENTS

  • Manual Drivers Licence
  • High level of grooming and personal presentation
  • High level of both written and verbal communication
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, late nights, weekends and public holidays
  • Unrestricted working rights in Australia
  • Previous experience with Opera is advantageous
