YHA Cairns Central is currently seeking a committed Receptionist to join the team on a part-time. Your day-to-day duties will be allow you to have the opportunity to experience front office and back of house.


Day-to-day duties include:

Reception duties include; providing a friendly welcome and checking guests in and out, answering queries, being a source of helpful local information and knowledge, and promoting in-house activities to guests.

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS


What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in reception, housekeeping or cleaning
  • Willingness to take direction from others
  • Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
  • Flexible availability 24/7 roster including night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
