JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Events, Reservations, and Sales Manager to join our dynamic team at Bistro Moncur and Woollahra Hotel. This role is pivotal in driving sales, managing day-to-day reservations, coordinating events, and streamlining administrative operations while maintaining excellent guest and client relationships.

REQUIREMENTS

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Business Development:

  • Drive functions, events, and reservations sales to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
  • Proactively respond to enquiries and leads to convert opportunities into confirmed bookings.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Provide monthly reporting on sales performance, KPIs, and revenue streams.
  • Attend networking opportunities and host famils to showcase venue offerings.

Reservations Management:

  • Answer phones and manage general reservation bookings for Bistro Moncur and Woollahra Hotel.
  • Confirm all bookings for the following day and manage standing bookings.
  • Oversee the SevenRooms back end for reservations.
  • Provide weekly reporting on Bistro Moncur bookings and upcoming functions.

Events and Functions Management:

  • Respond to functions and event leads, conduct site visits, and oversee tastings for Bistro Moncur and Woollahra Hotel.
  • Coordinate and plan in-house events for both venues, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Handle event ticket link creation for internal and occasional client events.
  • Develop creative packages and promotions to increase event sales.

Design and Administrative Tasks:

  • Menu design, printing, and occasional ad hoc design work.
  • Generate tax receipts and manage monthly Stripe reporting.
  • Produce gift vouchers for promotions, charities, and events.
  • Streamline office administration, including stationery ordering and inbox management across four email accounts (BM, WH, Direct Work, and Tripleseat).

 

Reporting and Systems:

  • Provide monthly sales reporting and KPIs.
  • Manage Tripleseat back end for event management.
  • Respond to general email enquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Oversee lost property management and resolution.
