JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a driven and motivated Reservations and Office Assistant who has proven experience in a similar position within the hospitality and tourism sector! The ideal person will have a strong key understanding of restaurants, guest services/ reservations as well as office administration tasks. The role requires a friendly, approachable, all rounder with excellent communication skills and plenty of initiative.

This role is perfect for someone who loves hospitality but wants to try something different with better working hours. Successful candidate must be available from Tuesday – Friday from 11:00am to 7:00pm.

Duties required but not limited to

  • Answering all incoming phone calls and responding or redirection the enquiries as required
  • Responsible for all incoming general email and social media communication and responding or redirecting as required
  • Utilising our CRM platform to maintain an accurate database of all guests and memberships
  • Managing our reservations system (Seven rooms) over multi-venues, including upselling add ons where possible, voicemails and confirmation of reservations
  • Oversee reservation and group payments, and communicating all T&Cs to our guests
  • Be knowledgeable about all venue brand offerings, upcoming events and specials
  • Keep up to date with all activations across the group, including but not limited to sports schedules for our American sports bar, Chefs selection Menus, Bottomless brunch inclusions for our Miss Moneypenny’s Restaurant
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization and stationary of the office
  • Assist marketing in managing entertainment bookings for all venues
  • When required, assist in set up for Broadbeach functions/ events
  • Update all in house collateral, including posters and menus
  • Ad hoc duties such as signing and accepting deliveries, managing door bell, etc.

Waitstaff (Fine Dining)

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

About you

  • 1+ years in a similar role
  • Previous experience using restervations systems (Open Table, Seven rooms, etc)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft suites and excellent level of computer literacy skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Be passionate about guests and their satisfaction
  • Highly organised
  • Full Australian working rights
