A bit about you:

Evra is currently looking for an inspired and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team.

This is a unique role that will provide you with many fantastic benefits whilst having the opportunity for career growth and progression within the company. 

The successful applicant must have had experience in running seamless operation of a Restaurant and in delivering exceptional service while ensuring the quality of the food and beverage program. The applicant must have operational finesse, presence on the floor and has skills and experience in restaurant operations whilst also meeting administrative back of house requirements.

This job would be ideal for a current Restaurant Manager looking for a change or an experienced and knowledgeable Assistant Manager who wants to step up and take on extra responsibility.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will take a hands-on involvement with all tasks and responsibilities including:

  • Overseeing operations and the continued success of the venue
  • Effectively recruiting and managing employees
  • Confident in representing Evra’s core values, leading by example in all operational and interpersonal interactions
  • Overall quality control with emphasis on staff training and induction programmes
  • Achievement of budgeted food sales, beverage sales, labour costs and profitability
  • In depth understanding and high competency of accounting principles, managing finances, resource management, marketing, and inventory control
  • Knowledge of local and national regulations related to alcohol service and health code compliance
  • Liaison between owners, General Manager, and the Front of House team 
  • Assist with menu planning and curating a food & beverage program that is profitable and over delivering.
  • Ability to confidently handle and manage complaints.
  • An eye for detail, always ensuring well-presented venues. 
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Monitor, coach and support your team with passion and fun.
  • Giving honest and open performance feedback.
  • Encouraging individuality, innovation, and initiative.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • WSET and/or Court of Master Sommelier certification a bonus.
  • Valid QLD RSA certificate.

REQUIREMENTS

This position will require flexibility and weekend work and may comprise of a combination of day and night shifts in accordance with business demands. This is a full-time opportunity; applicants must have full working rights. Experience as a well presented restaurant manager is essential.
