JOB DESCRIPTION

At the Moat we strive to provide stellar dining experiences.

We are seeking an experienced restaurant manager who can oversee day-to-day operations, hire and train qualified staff members, and maintain high food standards. The restaurant manager will also be responsible for developing a positive brand image through consistent customer service and a strong understanding of restaurant protocol. With professionalism and a positive attitude, they will help contribute to the growth and popularity of our restaurant, as well as the long-term success of our employees.

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.

REQUIREMENTS

The successful applicant will have:

High attention to detail & a passion for exceeding client expectations

Positive solutions focused attitude, well developed problem-solving &

analytical skills

Strong negotiating capabilities to achieve positive outcomes for both the client

& venue at all times

Excellent interpersonal, communication, organisational & time management

skills

Ability to drive, inspire & lead a successful team culture

The flexibility to work a variety of shifts; including days, nights & weekends

A warm personal leader's demeanour with a team focused view to deliver

impeccable customer service

You will be provided with all the training & support you need to succeed in your role

The Moat

Basement Italian wine bar in the heart of the city opposite Melbourne Central station and Swanston St trams. We have been operating for over 10 years with many long term staff members. We do not open Sundays, Public holidays or over Christmas. Our staff are like family and our customers love that our restaurant feels like their lounge room.
