JOB DESCRIPTION

We are searching for a talented and hands on Restaurant Manager to support the management of this this successful business.

The Restaurant Manager will be a key member of the Venues leadership team, responsible for the seamless operation of the restaurant ensuring customers have an unrivalled dining experience.

Byblos, currently operating 6 days a week offers a relaxed, semi casual dining for lunch & dinner along with emphasizing on quality beverages. Service is consistently busy & multi-faceted.

Ghanem Group own a number of award winning venues in Brisbane and Melbourne, including our Lebanese and Mediterranean inspired Restaurant and Bar, Byblos, located at Portside on the Brisbane River.

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

Key to your success will be your demonstrated experience in the following areas:

  • Managing service day to day in a high turnover restaurant
  • Strong leadership and management skills developed in a fast paced venue.
  • Effective roster and cost management
  • Recruitment, training and performance management
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)

Please keep in mind that this role will operate in shifts which may include day/night shifts, weekends and holidays.

Demonstrated experience operating in a similar role and calibre of venue is essential, coupled with education in Hospitality/Business or equivalent.
