JOB DESCRIPTION

As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the restaurant. We are looking for a talented manager who can share our vision, and provide memorable dining experiences for our guests.  You will be responsible for recruitment, kitchen, purchasing, events management, marketing, and most importantly you will provide a hands on service to our guests. You will also be responsible for the following: 

Beaches Restaurant located at Seven Mile Beach is part of the exclusive Club Wyndham Resort, and is seeking a dynamic and passionate, customer focused restaurant manager, to take our new concept restaurant to the next level. If you enjoy having fun, have a great personality, and love people, and also possess experience in restaurant and event management, then this is the role for you. Beaches restaurant has recently expanded with a new Deck, expansive picturesque lawn, and fire pit. Whilst our restaurant is contemporary, our space and vision is going to take our stunning product to the next level.

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

To be successful in this role, you will be:

  • Have the ability to recognize and solve problems in the workplace
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Previous experience within a similar management position
  • Ability to co-ordinate schedules with projected workflow, within budget
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol Certification
  • Knowledge and understanding of OH&S and chemical handing
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, public and school holidays.
  • Be a real 'people person' and genuinely enjoy getting to know people
