JOB DESCRIPTION

From the group that brought you Choji Yakiniku in Chatswood, The Tabero Food Group is bringing a new dining concept to you 2022. 

Introducing Hanasuki Shabu Shabu! This is a popular Japanese-style hot pot we are very excited to share. 

Our new restaurant is soon to open, we need a super team who will assume the responsibility for the overall culinary experience of this restaurant.

Our focus and yours will be all about the customer experience. If you are passionate about food and want to grow within the industry – this opportunity is for YOU! 

As a Restaurant Manager, you will be a hands-on operator, leading from the front and by example with a variety of responsibilities and duties not limited to, restaurant marketing strategies, recruiting and hiring restaurant staff, training, overseeing food quality, developing menus as well as greeting and serving restaurant guests encompassing the overall financial success, driving top-line revenue, whilst managing COGS and Labour. 

Ideally, your skills, experience and attributes will encompass 

  • Restaurant supervisor experience with a similar cuisine and service delivery encompassing a proven track record in customer service excellence and supervisory positions
  • Understanding of Japanese cuisine or willingness to learn. 
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software
  • Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
  • Good financial management skills and the ability to not only manage expenses but drive top-line revenue. 
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
