As a Restaurant Manager at Mexicano’s you will:

Provide an excellent level of customer service and support a "customers first" culture across the restaurant.

Main Duties:
 

  • Day to day operational management of the restaurant; including bookings, restaurant set-up and close, customer flow and effective daily communication with kitchen staff.
  • Recruitment, training and day to day management and motivation of staff, with administrative assistance from office team.
  • Wage cost control
  • Management and purchasing of restaurant supplies
  • Beverage purchasing stock control alongside senior bar person
  • Input of weekly rosters with operations manager
  • Management of till operations, daily cash ups and resolution of any issues
  • Delegation of operational duties and ensuring they are carried out
  • Implementing GM’s do’s and don’ts
  • Ensuring company policy is carried out by all staff and that all restaurant procedures are adhered to by all staff every day
  • Daily communication of any operational issues with GM and office team. This includes any damage control and cash up issues.
  • Instil a team environment which will result in staff retention
  • Responsibility for general repairs and maintenance


Pay negotiable and based on your experience and ability.The right candidates will be looked after very well.

REQUIREMENTS

Suitable applicants will have the following skills:

-Excellent presentation is essential
-Restaurant management experience
-Experience working in a busy restaurant
-Ability to communicate effectively with customers, staff, and management
-Experienced with the use of POS systems.
-A laser-like focus on great service
-A willingness to work late into the night
-An absolute passion for customer service
-A desire to be a part of the best hospitality group in the country
-A friendly, positive, and warm personality that makes customers and staff feel at ease
*Willingness to learn 
-The ability to lead, inspire and teach
-Self-belief, strength, humility and ambition
-Manager’s certificate required
