JOB DESCRIPTION

After establishing the highly successful restaurant and cafe  Pasture of Balmoral in 2018, we will open a second restaurant and cafe in Kirribilli by the end of October 2023. The ethos behind our business is the notion of “pasture to plate.” We have generational ties to farming and aim to use quality ingredients that are sustainably grown and sourced straight from the producer. At the Pasture Group of Restaurants and Cafes, we deeply respect the farmers, fishermen, food artisans and growers who work tirelessly to produce the food we serve and enjoy.

Pasture of Kirribilli will seat 80 guests and feature a modern, fresh new design and fit-out. Breakfast and lunch will be served seven days a week, and dinner three nights.

We’re all about our people and dedicated to looking after them. As part of our team, you’ll get real responsibility from the start, taking centre stage as team leader.  As Restaurant / Venue Manager, you are expected to be well-presented, friendly, enthusiastic and willing to give 100% and be a very hands-on manager.

Duties will also include running shifts, rosters, stock control and ordering and all other day-to-day running of the business.

You must also promote and maintain the establishment's reputation by ensuring and providing excellent customer care and service.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Planning and organising special events
  • Arranging the purchasing and pricing of goods according to budget
  • Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions
  • Assist team during trading to run meals and clearing tables
  • Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service
  • Selecting, training and supervising staff
  • Taking reservations, greeting guests and assisting in taking orders
  • Answer emails and all other customer queries
