The opportunity

Zushi' is looking for an exceptional Restaurant Manager to join our team in our vibrant Surry Hills location. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving the financial success of the business.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a talented team of front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts and bartenders

  • Ensure exceptional customer service and a seamless dining experience for all guests

  • Oversee inventory management, staff scheduling and financial reporting

  • Implement and monitor operational procedures to maximise efficiency and profitability

  • Identify and action opportunities for process improvements and cost savings

  • Foster a positive work culture and provide coaching and development for the team

  • Collaborate with the executive team on strategic initiatives to drive the business forward

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a restaurant management role, ideally within the hospitality industry

  • Exceptional customer service orientation and the ability to lead and motivate a team

  • Strong financial acumen and experience in inventory and budget management

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in using restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems

  • Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience
