JOB DESCRIPTION

TAPAVINO GROUP  - SYDNEY CBD - Born by Tapavino - Barangaroo

With around 500 wines to work with and  3 venues in Sydney’s CBD, the team at Tapavino has established itself as Sydney's leading Contemporary Spanish Restaurant Group.

Looking for a Manager with experience in a fast pace busy restaurant 38-42 hours per week

The Manager will work closely with the owner and also the GM, who both work in all restaurants on any given day. This helps keep the high standards of food and service that is expected from management and also the people that visit us.

Tapavino venues are busy and fast pace restaurants, that has a mixed of corporate business diners during the week and discerning patrons on the weekend.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in working busy restaurant sections in Australia or overseas
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and professional manner
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated experiences in training and managing staff
  • Attention to detail
  • An energetic and friendly personality
  • In depth knowledge of food and wine, however, little or no experience in Spanish cuisine or Spanish Wine will not count against your application.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising the front of house team including rostering, recruiting and training staff
  • Overseeing service to ensure that it runs smoothly
  • Fostering a positive culture within the front of house team, as well with the kitchen
  • Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction

This is a full time salary position is available for the right candidate. 

 We always ensure our staff have two consecutive days off, and there is flexibility in your roster.  (No Sunday work)

You must have full Australian work rights for this position.

We are happy to look for sponsorship transfer for those to secure employment.
