JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking a customer focused Food and Beverage Supervisor who can:

  • Work as part of the Food and Beverage team to instill a culture of superior customer service leaving the customer 'wanting more'
  • Work alongside and supervise line staff. This requires having a working knowledge of all operational areas within the Club
  • Manage and execute the day to day operations of the bar and restaurant
  • Sell by recommendation and through product knowledge beverages and food
  • Supervise, coordinate and train bar and wait staff to ensure high product knowledge and exceptional customer service
  • Ensure the work area complies with the highest standards of cleanliness
  • Have input into staff rosters to meet the needs of the bar and restaurant
  • Cash handling and till reconciliation
  • Opening and closing procedures
  • Stock Control
  • The position involves day, weekend and night shifts and may require split shifts.

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

  • A true hospitality professional with a minimum of 1-2 years experience in a high volume hospitality role
  • Previous leadership experience
  • A serious/professional approach to the industry and a great personality.
  • Thrive in a member focused environment by delivering exceptional customer service and resolving customer queries
  • Exceptional personal presentation and hygiene
  • Enjoy working with people
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal and supervisory skills
  • Good communication skills
  • An up to date RSA and any other associated qualifications.  RMLV preferred.
