JOB DESCRIPTION

The Venues

Something has been happening behind the iconic bluestone walls in Pentridge. Soon we will welcome people behind the walls and share the exciting new developments. Two new venues will open in February, both situated in the original bluestone buildings. Seating 200 in our restaurant, North & Common, and 110 in our iconic wine bar, Olivine, this will be a significant operation. 

North & Common

This suburb has changed. A lot. But what hasn’t changed is its openness to people of all kinds. 

To new ideas and shared ideals. North & Common stands for the shared ideals of Melbourne’s inner north. Multiculturalism. Simple things done well. And the ability to find beauty and community where others wouldn’t expect it.

The Opportunity

This incredibly unique venue is sure to be buzzing with 330 seats between the various restaurant and bar areas, including a large team of food and beverage enthusiasts ready to take care of our guests. We are currently seeking a dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to support the Manager in leading the front of house Restaurant operations. 

With proven technical skills and the ability to lead by example and work as a part of a team, this role will be responsible for running shift and ensuring the restaurant operations run smoothly. You will deliver a consistently high standard of service and experience that will capture the minds and hearts of our guests.

 The Precinct & Operator 

These venues form part of a larger hospitality development on the Pentridge site managed by TFE hotels. The other parts of the development include and fully immersive experiential urban retreat, a events and weddings brand, museum and tourism offering in conjunction with National trust, and an Adina Apartment Hotel tower. This development will complement the existing planned Brewdog Brewery opening, along with on-site retail centre.
