JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re on the hunt for a hospitality all-star to help keep the good vibes rolling at Sunset Diner Lane Cove. Whether you're looking to grow into a leadership role or bring your experience to a new home, we want to hear from you.

 

🌞 What You’ll Be Doing

As one of our captains at the helm, you’ll be hands-on support to the Venue Manager and owners, working together to ensure day-to-day operations of the diner run smoothly.

You’ll help:

  • Keep service standards high and enhance customer experience with your people-first attitude and big ol’ smile 
  • Work collaboratively with our awesome crew on the floor, behind the bar, in cafe, and wherever your helping hands are needed
  • Uphold venue presentation so the space is always looking funky fresh
  • Respond to booking enquiries, and organise functions and seasonal events
  • Control stock, handle cash, and send end-of-day reports
  • Throw ideas into the marketing mix and shoot content for the odd social post when inspiration strikes

You’ll be ready for action across a rotating 7-day roster, providing leadership in a variety of day and night shifts.

🎯 What You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years of hospo experience (bar, café, or both - we love a multitasker)
  • 1+ year of bartending experience
  • RSA in hand
  • Barista skills not a requirement but worth extra brownie points
  • A passion for food, love for people, and strong community spirit
  • A knack for problem-solving and cool head under pressure
  • The drive to grow with us
