Restaurant / Venue Manager at La Regina Chermside

JOB DESCRIPTION

As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth service, team leadership, and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with the owners and kitchen team to uphold high standards and create a positive work culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily FOH operations and ensure high service standards

  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of front-of-house staff

  • Manage bookings, customer feedback, and service flow

  • Collaborate with the kitchen team for seamless coordination

  • Handle opening and closing procedures

  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards

  • Stock and inventory management for FOH supplies

  • Roster management and shift planning

  • Assist with events, promotions, and special dining experiences

  • Report directly to the owners with regular updates

Food & Beverage Manager

Food & Beverage Supervisor

Please note: You should have a minimum 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in hospitality (minimum 2 years preferred)

  • Strong leadership and people management skills

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

  • Passion for Italian cuisine and hospitality

  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Well-groomed, punctual, and organised

  • Barista or wine knowledge is a plus

  • RSA certificate (or willingness to obtain)

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
