Seaplanes and Empire Lounge sits over the waters in Rose Bay and our Seaplanes fly customers daily from the backdoor. Empire Lounge has split indoor and outdoor dining areas seating 100+. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner to locals and visitors alike and open Wednesday to Sunday.

Job Title: Section Waiter at Empire Lounge (Waterfront Venue)

Empire Lounge is seeking an experienced and professional Section Waiter to join our team. Our waterfront venue is known for its exceptional food, drinks, and service. As a Section Waiter, you will be responsible for providing an excellent dining experience for our guests by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests and escort them to their table
• Present menus and specials to guests and answer any questions they may have
• Take orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner
• Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any issues or concerns
• Clear and reset tables and ensure the dining area is clean and organized
• Collaborate with hostesses, bartenders, and other servers to ensure seamless service

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a waiter in a high-volume restaurant or similar environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
• Knowledge of wine and cocktail service is preferred
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
