The company

Steersons is an established steakhouse restaurant located in the thriving King St Wharf / Barangaroo dining precinct. We offer our guests an unparalleled waterfront steak dining experience, and are known for quailty dining and excellent service.

The position

We are on the look out for section waiters to compliment our current team. Experience in a similar upmarket venue is required. Primary duties include:

• Greeting and seating guests
• Taking food and beverage orders - entering in POS terminal
• Recommending appropriate menu items when required
• Running food from pass to tables
• Setting up / packing down of dining room as required.

Who we are looking for

Friendly, energetic, professional and customer-focused attitude.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain the menu, and guide customers accordingly

Availability for nights and weekend work

Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Expect a corporate crowd mid week, and a fun a vibrant atmosphere over the weekend. 

Expect 25+ hours per week, however we are happy to tailor the hours based on any current commitments (e.g study, 2nd job)
