The Abercrombie has undergone an incredible transformation with three venues now under the one.

Lil Sis is Chippendale’s (very) late-night wine bar and shop, inspired by the charming ‘cave à vins’ found in the neighbourhoods of Paris, located in the terraces adjoining Abercrombie.

Our guests can pop in for a tasting at the communal wine shop table or pick up a bottle to take with them. If they’re ready to settle in, guests can head upstairs, take a seat, and let us pour them a drink and fix some snacks while the DJ spins disco beats.

The wines span old to new world, natural and biodynamic through to the more traditional. But there’s no pomp and pretension about the place, just a refreshingly simple drinks menu and friendly staff.

Our guests soak up the wine with locally-cured meats sliced to order, delicious cheeses, pickled deli favourites, gildas and the ultimate comfort food, jaffles. All served till the early hours.

Lil Sis is on the hunt for career section waiters who have worked in some of Sydney's best restaurants or wine bars to bring their passion for customer service and their love of hospitality to our newest venue.

Having worked in some of Sydney's best restaurants, you have hospitality in your DNA and strive to create a warm, friendly and memorable guest experience with each service.  

Passionate about wine? Our venue has an exceptional list, curated by some of the industry's best sommeliers and this an opportunity for you to showcase your excellent knowledge to our guests or take part in some of our incredible beverage training sessions to upskill. 

Flexibility with hours across Wednesday to Sunday with the availability to work Fridays & Saturday evenings is preferred.
