Step into Lúc Lắc, where every moment is a feast for the senses. Nestled on The Terrace, Level 4, at The Star, this breathtaking venue blends a lush indoor-outdoor tropical aesthetic with vibrant Southeast Asian and French-inspired cuisine. From the tantalising aromas of wok-tossed dishes to the playful charm of our desserts, every bite is a celebration of bold flavors and fresh Queensland produce.

Beyond the food, Lúc Lắc boasts a dynamic central bar and late-night DJ entertainment, offering guests an ambiance that evolves from vibrant dining to spirited nightlife. Open from lunch to late night, we serve A La Carte and Banquet menus designed for sharing, complemented by an extensive and colorful beverage selection.

We are seeking experienced Section Waiters who have the passion and ability to provide our guests with a superior dining experience.

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Greeting and escorting customers to their tables
  • Arranging table settings and maintaining a tidy dining area
  • Providing detailed information on menus and make recommendations
  • Taking customer orders and delivering food and beverages
  • Delivering checks and closing out bill payments

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Waitstaff
Waitstaff (Fine Dining)

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 6 months previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

Successful candidates will have demonstrated experience in a similar role and environment, coupled with the following skills and attributes:

  • Previous Food & Beverage experience
  • Attentiveness and patience for customers
  • Active listening and effective communication
  • Excellent presentation and hygiene
  • Hands-on experience with cash handling and ordering information system
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of food health and safety handling

Please keep in mind that this role will operate in shifts which may include late nights, weekends and holidays.
