Bare Bones Society is looking for a SENIOR CHEF to join a young, dynamic team in our Jindalee-based cafe. 

Full-time chef positions available, however casual kitchen hours are also available for the right person seeking to earn extra cash, as well as casual kitchen hand positions. There is also an opportunity available for an apprenticeship to learn under an award-winning chef.

In order to meet our high expectations the successful applicant must show initiative, drive and be incredibly passionate about the food industry, along with a minimum of TWO years experience in a similar role.

This cafe is BUSY and FAST PACED and the successful applicant will have to be able to produce well presented, executed dishes under pressure.

You will:

• Work within a small but dynamic team.
• Prepare produce for breakfast/lunch service, plus some nights per week and occasional functions.
• Ability to work unsupervised as required.
• Work to and implement OH&S standards.
• Be fun and approachable to work with in a team environment.
• Understand the importance of organisation and professionalism to get tasks completed on time and in budget.
