JOB DESCRIPTION

The WAYGOOD venue is a stunning 50-seater space, located in Swan Street Richmond. We are seeking a talented chef dedicated to their craft who want to learn and be mentored in a creative and supportive environment.

  • 2 consecutive days off per week
  • Above award salary + super

We're looking for a senior CDP to join the WAYGOOD team . The successful candidate will have a strong eye for detail and a passion for seasonal ingredients & European food. Potential for the right candidate to step into a sous chef role in the future.

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

What you need:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ cooking experience + relevant experience in a similar position 
  • A passion for sustainability, local produce and an interest in current trends
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • A high level of drive and initiative with excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and be an active contributor to the team
  • A willingness to be guided and to take direction
  • Full work rights in Australia 
  • Knowledge of European cooking techniques and cuisine
