JOB DESCRIPTION

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Front Office Assistant Manager to join our Hotel team and work at the region’s newest luxury hotel; Ardo. 

About the role:

As a Senior Front Office Assistant Manager, you will provide operational support to the Front Office Manager by overseeing the Front Office teams. You will be responsible for managing an effective team of professionals including completion of rosters, reports, and timesheets, identify opportunities to implement change, ensure customer complaints are promptly investigated and resolved fostering a positive outcome and greet all guests as a representative of the Senior Management Team. 

Who we are looking for:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and demonstrated experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry, preferably in front office operations.
  • Availability and capable of working days, nights, weekends, public holidays
  • Proficiency in hotel property management systems (Opera Cloud is preferred) and other relevant software applications. 
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle guest interactions with professionalism and tact.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
