JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Shift Manager you will be part of the management team responsible for the daily operations at our newly opened St Leonards location. The cafe is open from 6am to 11pm with the 2IC role either an AM or PM shift.

Your role will be to primarily to ensure the effective operations of Organica and always delivering excellence in customer service. This a hands on, working the floor role with responsibility for the service staff, kitchen and pastry team and the bar/barista operations.


RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

Key Responsibilities:

  • Constant vigilance and provision of excellent customer service from all team members
  • Effective daily controls of staff service and labour levels
  • Help build vibrant, energetic, and inclusive team culture
  • Ability to manage conflict, remain calm under pressure, and work unsupervised
  • Oversee the processes, checklists, and activities to ensure product quality, consistency and value are delivered as per the brand and customer expectancy.  

 Required Qualifications /Experience: 

  • Minimum 1 years of experience in a similar role preffered but not essential (training provided for applicants wanting to progress career)
  • 5 years of experience in hospitality
  • Current RSA required
