JOB DESCRIPTION

Mina Italian are looking for a Shift Supervisor to join the team. 

We are looking for passionate hospitality staff as you will become part of the Mina family.

Introducing Mina

Allow Mina to transport you to the Venetian Laguna, before stopping in Roma, Milan and Florence. This is what the dining journey Mina Restaurant & Bar will be looking to deliver to Brisbane when the doors open in June. 

Bringing the beauty and drama of some of the world’s most famous European cities, Mina will be serving up Italian favourites like Venetian Cichetti snacks, crudos, risottos, handmade pizzas, and pastas, alongside an eclectic selection of new age distillations and cocktails. 

From the team who bought you Lina Rooftop & Eterna, Stefano De Blasi and Eduardo Perla have once again joined forces with Ross Ledingham and Mario Castro to redefine the Italian dining experience.  

The name Mina refers to the ‘Singer’ whose voice has distinctive timbre and great power. Taking inspiration from her anguished love stories the food will be rich in high dramatic tones, bringing an authentically artistic flair to Brisbane’s ever-growing restaurant scene. 

Boasting a stunning location situated just off the Bulimba jetty, Mina is bringing the European coastline directly to our home shores, with authenticity and flair. All that’s missing now are the Gondola’s.

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will have the following: 

  • 1-2 years experience in a management role
  • A high standard of customer service skills
  • Dedicated to motivate, mentor and train staff
  • Possess excellent leadership and team player qualities
  • Exceptional time management for split work shift
  • Work well under pressure
