JOB DESCRIPTION

Somelier:

 1. Providing guests with a superior level of Wine & Beverage knowledge to enhance customer satisfaction within their 6 HEAD dining experience.

2. Help lead, develop & educate the Beverage Team on a day-to-day basis.

3. To support the 6 HEAD floor team in delivering efficient Wine & Beverage service in line with the 6 HEAD sequence of service.

4. Assisting the floor team in increasing spend per head by maximizing Wine & Beverage sales and upselling premium products.

5. Ensuring all 6 HEAD Wine & Beverages served are of the utmost quality, presentation & respect.

6. Working closely with the Bar Team ensuring stock control & delivering quality beverages.

7. Facilitating customer feedback to management in a timely & effective manner.

 

Assistant Restaurant Manager:

1.  Developing and maintaining service standards in a premium/refined restaurant environment to ensure a world class hospitality experience.

2.  Strong, natural leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.

3.  Proven ability to work in high pressure/ high volume environment with strong decision-making skills and work with a sense of urgency.

4. Understanding of financials and budget control – including labour control, stock management, wastage and cost of goods.

5. Management of daily restaurant operations whilst meeting company objectives and key performance indicators

6.  Creating and building on relationships with our guests, employees and clients

Operations Manager

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

        Somelier:

  • Service and beverage experience, interest, skill, and success in the restaurant industry
  • Advanced levels of wine, spirit, and beverage knowledge
  • Effective planning and time management skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Interpersonal, organization, and presentation skills
  • Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A current RSA Certificate/Competency Card
  • Excellent personal hygiene and presentation

 

        Assistant Restaurant Manager:

  •   Management experience, interest, skill and success in the restaurant industry
  •  Advanced leadership approach and technique
  •  Effective planning and time management skills
  •  Problem solving and decision making skills
  •  Advanced communication skills, both written and verbal
  •  Computer literacy
  •  Knowledge of Industrial Legislation
  • A current RSA Certificate
  • Excellent personal hygiene and presentation
