JOB DESCRIPTION

Tahi eatery is an exciting opportunity to work as a part of a tight knit team preparing quality dishes, with a focus on fresh and high quality produce. We are looking for a passionate, creative chef, that can run a daytime & nightime service. Work with the head chef to develop and deliver a high quality, exceptional tasting & looking plates of food. The ideal candidate will: Purpose of Role: Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to customers Able to prepare food according to food handlers guidelines Able to do repetitive work Knowledge of cooking procedures Able to communicate with Prep Cooks & Wait staff Maintain the quality and appearance of items prepared Stock and re‐stock items prepared Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area Label and date all food stored and rotate food as needed Able to work in a high pace and hot environment Able to multi‐task Maintain thorough understanding of menu items and preparation techniques Must be a team player


RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Sous chef

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.

Prior experience as senior/ Junior Sous level
