JOB DESCRIPTION

New venue opening in Circluar Quay, Bennie's.

This exciting new venture will be the birthplace of BENNIES opening mid May 2024. A modern on trend all day dining cafe with a clear focus of flavors around the world. Trading breakfast, lunch and dinner this will be the locals go to whilst providing a convenient pit- stop for tourists wanting to enjoy the sweeping views of the harbor bridge.

RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Head Chef
Sous chef

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.

REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join us here at Bennie's

To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following criteria:

  • 2+ years of Sous Chef experience
  • Experience in fast pased restaurants 
  • Organised, well presented, professional, with a good eye for detail who strives for excellence and keeps calm under pressure.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • A creative, positive, can-do attitude.
  • Be reliable and punctual with multi-tasking ability
  • Can work closely with Senior Management and other related departments

You will also assist the Executive Chef with menu development, ordering, rostering and day-to-day management of a busy kitchen
