The QCC Group has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef to join our team at our new venture with the QCC group. We are a large part of all the major sporting events within Brisbane for decades. This is a startup role where you can make the kitchen and menu your own, whilst being well supported by the Groups Executive Chef. This position has great potential to develop into a senior role within our organisation if you are looking for further growth. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the daily culinary operations, from menu development to kitchen management. This is a pivotal position that will play a crucial part in enhancing the dining experience for our guests and visitors.
Please note: You should have a minimum up to 1 year previous experience in the above or similar roles.
What you'll be doing
Develop with head chef, an innovative menu that showcase your culinary expertise
Support and mentor a small team of talented chefs and kitchen staff, ensuring consistent high-quality food preparation and service
Monitor food costs, inventory, and kitchen operations to maintain efficiency and profitability
Collaborate with the management team to identify opportunities for menu enhancements and special events
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations in the kitchen
Foster a positive, productive, and collaborative work environment in the kitchen
Interview required
