Rendezvous Hotel Perth Scarborough is providing the fantastic opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef, with the main focus on Banquets, who is a dynamic leader with experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments to lead our culinary team. 

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic culinary team that produces contemporary cuisine in a large-scale iconic hotel. Rendezvous Hotel Perth Scarborough showcases 337 accommodation rooms and suites, a lagoon style swimming pool, 130 cover restaurant, and notably 25 conference and event spaces that cater for up to 1000 guests.    


RECOMMENDED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

Sous chef
Function/Banquet server

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

The following set of skills and experiences are required for you to shine in this role:

  • Extensive experience in large scale multi-faceted establishments, with a notable focus on large banqueting operations.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
  • Experience in writing and costing menus, ensuring the kitchen adheres to budgets and controlling food costs.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • The ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proven leadership qualities and the ability to coach, train and motivate your team.
  • Demonstrated experience in supplier relations and communication.
  • A passion for continuous improvement.
