Colonial Brewery Margaret River are seeking the services of an exceptional Sous Chef to help lead a small, focused team. You will be responsible for assisting in the day to day running of our kitchen, leading by example and from the front is pivotal in this role as well as maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and stock control.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Day to day food operations with the Head Chef working on menu costing and development
• Monitoring wages and food budget
You must be/have:
• Passionate about food quality
• Able to start work ASAP
• Lead the kitchen through busy peak services
• Self-driven and autonomous whilst being open to direction
• Well presented, organised, with a high work ethic
• Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
• 'Can do' attitude
• In possession of a valid Australian working visa
• Flexible with work availability

Key skills and responsibilities required:

• Eye for quality & consistency
• Adhering to food safety principles, OH&S and standard operating procedures
• Help organise and maintain the production and service of quality food according to menu guidelines
• Working with restaurant staff in a constructive and professional manner
